Checking out RePlay was fun. Let's keep going! Next stop: The Dancing Weasel 30 E. 17th Ave. Eugene, OR 97401 So many great options here. Everything in this store is just so darn pretty! The Dancing Weasel is owned by mother/daughter duo Danita and Aya. They offer a collection of thoughtful, well made toys. Here are a few that are begging to have a home in your children's stockings: These super fun little bamboo vehicles (if you flip them upside down you can see the bamboo shoot cut in half): Wood food that has velcro, ready to be "cut" and "served": Awesome science choices: "Bug eyes" (kalidoscopes), magnets, and magnifying glasses: Aya told me that tweens and teens love these small Squishables keychains - (Also I NEED that narwhal): And if you need more inspiration, they have an entire island of little-ish options that would be perfect for stockings.
*Super Stocking Stuffer Giveaway* The Dancing Weasel is giving away a $20 gift card just in time! Use it to get great stuff or put the card itself in the stocking & let your kiddo pick out something fun! To be entered comment here (or on Facebook) with the best gift you ever received (bought something awesome for yourself? Totally counts!) The drawing will be Thursday night at 9pm. Thanks Dancing Weasel! *********** The Dancing Weasel is a favorite around here. Check out our interview with the fantastic owners here.

So it's silly but my hubby and I splurged and bought ourselves season tickets to Broadway in Eugene for this year. Date nights and time alone together are so rare and now we have four guaranteed awesome date nights!

I begged to play the violin at age 3... For a whole year. Got a violin and lessons for Christmas when I was 4. Best gift. I still play 29 years later. 😊

Hmmm. Best gift? Getting a bouncy horse (one of those plastic horses on a metal frame with dangerous springs - remember those death traps?), I think it is my first actual memory.

A nice camera for sure. I have so many beautiful pictures of my daughter because of it. A camera phone is handy but the quality and flexibility is just not the same.
